Michael Wolf (Technical Support Manager for Shure Europe)

Michael Wolf has been with Shure since 1994. In his role as Technical Support Manager he’s responsible for all service-related tasks in the EMEA region. For 15 years he has been attending the Montreux Jazz Festival taking care of the frequency coordination, loaning equipment and assisting with any technical questions. Being a passionate musician Michael plays trumpet as well as the drums and is a member of the German cover band United Sound Ltd.

Luis Regidor, 2nd winner of the 2011 Shure Montreux Jazz Voice Competition

Born in Cáceres (Spain) in 1985, he has been active as Classical and Electrical guitarist, Jazz, Rock and Funk singer, and has performed concerts on 3 continents (Europe, America and Africa). He had earned prizes in different competitions (“International Guitar festival of Cordoba”, “Schmolz+Bickenbach” Chamber Music Competition for all instruments, 2nd prize at the “Shure Montreux Jazz Voice Competition 2011” and finalist at the 2012 edition, both times with a jury presided by Quincy Jones). He attended masterclasses with Leo Brouwer, N.Harnoncourt, Ricardo Gallén, David Russell, Carles Benavent, Marcus Miller, Jim Hall, Pat Metheny, Scott Henderson, John Scofield. Currently working on his Master degree in classical guitar at the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf with Joaquín Clerch, while also receiving parallel lessons of Ancient Music with Anthony Spiri.
